Alice Whitman Chapter, NSDAR, Lewiston, Idaho, welcomes you!
Alice Whitman Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was granted a charter on May 1, 1919. Since then, women have joined the Alice Whitman Chapter, NSDAR, to help promote the three objectives of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR): historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavor.
Our meetings are held monthly September through May. If you are interested in attending a meeting as a guest, please contact us for assistance.
If you are 18 years or over, have an American Revolutionary War ancestor, and can document your descendancy, we are happy to help you with your membership application. Please contact us for assistance.
Our chapter has fun while serving our community. Women join the DAR for a variety of reasons, we work hard to develop a sense of sisterhood while we support the community in which work and live.
